blur
You work with what you’ve got – and bad eyesight is useful to me for drawing and painting from observation because it simplifies areas of complexity as areas of tone or colour. There’s also a kind of tranquility in the vagueness of blur because it shrugs off any impulse to grasp at details; you can only surrender to it.
